"Drive Fast Take Chances" John Bruce Matherson

It is with sadness and affection that we celebrate and acknowledge the life of John Matherson, who was tragically killed on May 17, 2008. John was born and raised in California. His love affair for motorcycles began as a young boy and continued all his life. John’s love for his family, especially his wife Robin (Blondie), was second to none. His other passion was cooking and he enjoyed being the chef for his friends and family. He is one of those special people whose natural exuberance made everyone around him happy to be alive. He loved and lived each day as if it were his last. No regrets. Often a parting verbiage heard from John, “Drive fast take chances”. A personal note: I will miss this man everyday of waking life, I look forward to your visits in my dreams, “…if I had a friend, on this earth, you’ve been a friend to me” (MCC 10,000 Miles)
