Howdy Neighbors!

The road/gate/safety committee has been very busy, meeting on a weekly basis! Soon after we began this project, we realized a lot more was required than just improving the road surface and gate. Therefore, we are developing a comprehensive long term plan. Our progress so far includes:
1. Dividing the road into 0.1 mile increments
2. Walking the road with two different consultants (road surface and water/slide management)
3. Identifying numerous areas of concern
a. Road surface
b. Water control
c. Slide areas
d. Safety concerns (eg narrow curves)
4. Narrowing gate improvement options
5. Instigating contact with appropriate agencies
6. Starting the estimation process

At this time, we need your feedback. We feel that everyone has their own solutions to and priorities for areas of concern and would like your input. Please email peggyc@focus360.com any suggestions, concerns or comments. Even if you think that everyone knows “X is a problem”, your input will help us prioritize the improvements.
