The rain "season" in these parts runs from July 1 through June 30.  The Verdugo Potero instrument (on Lot 39) was operating for the full year and recorded 18.61 inches of rain.

Just looking around the valley, it's obvious that the weeds are still growing vigorously right into July -- for the first time in a few years.  It's going to take an extra effort this year to keep our properties clear and safe.
