This 56-hour class taught by Gail Scanlon of Riverside County will prepare you to answer emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to ill and injured patients.  Our Volunteer Fire Department and its Auxiliary desperately need new members who are willing to spend time and energy to be well-trained and confident in responding to all kinds of emergencies.

The Cost:
The instructor cost and books will be provided by the Rancho Carrillo Volunteer Fire Department.  Meals will be provided.  (Your Hooligan money at work!)

The Purpose:
For Firefighters:   First Responder Training  (or the 110-hour EMT Course) is a pre-requisite for becoming a volunteer firefighter. Rancho Carrillo needs more firefighters!!

For the Auxiliary:  Though a First Responder certificate is not required to be on the Fire Auxiliary, it is highly recommended.  The purpose of the Auxiliary is to share the load and to support our volunteer firefighters.  First Responder Training is a great place to start.

What We Need From You
1) RSVP to Keith Warren or Nancy Streza as soon as possible.
2) Submit a Volunteer Fire Company Membership application.  (See attached below)
3) You must commit to the entire course.
